OCTOBER 19, 1987 REMEMBERED
A day that will never be forgotten!
October 19, 1987 or "Black Friday" was the day the stock market fell over 500 points. By todays standards that's not much by just the number, but the percentage was enormous, like 22+%. It was all over the news how capitalism and the stock market would never recover. What happened the next 2 days? The media doesn't talk about that. Well the market had 2 beautiful up days and launched one of the longest BULL markets in history. Moral of the story, don't get caught up in short term news, good or bad. The media loves to prey on two very big emotions, "FEAR & GREED". Don't give in and don't ever panic and do something you'll regret. Talk to your Coach, me. I'm there to help keep you on track and remind you of your long term goals.
